The Bergzuhaus

The Bergzuhaus Gemsli is an old Walser house with a mountain gastro tradition since 1930. It was renovated and converted in 2010 and 2019. The Bergzuhaus is nestled in the hamlet of Schlappin with a wonderful view in and out of the valley.
The Gemsli is a small but fine mountain inn with a rustic dining room that can accommodate up to 35 people. Our spacious sun terrace can be enjoyed but is also useful for outdoor work, yoga, etc. The pretty house consists of eight individual and lovingly designed rooms. The seminar room in the attic (which can also be used as a banquet room) can be used by up to 20 people.
Enjoy our new sauna and relax in the rest room with a wonderful view of our nature.

Dining room

Our rustic Walser style dining room was preserved in the well-tried style even after the renovation work in 2019. The cozy room can accommodate up to 35 people, the seating arrangement can vary as desired.

The homey atmosphere is underlined by loving details, the open fire does the rest.

In our restaurant we spoil you with culinary delights and are happy to advise you individually.

Rooms

The Gemsli houses eight individual and lovingly furnished double rooms (also available for single use). Two double rooms, quasi our “family suite”, are connected by a door so that our little guests feel comfortable too.

Showers and toilets are on the same floor and were renovated for you in 2019.

Sauna/relaxing room

Our Finnish sauna (which can also be used as a bio sauna with steam) and the relaxation room were also newly created in 2019. The pleasant smelling wood has a calming effect on your senses and can be dipped in different light tones. Musical sounds can also accompany your sauna sessions if you wish. Relax after an intensive day at work and enjoy the tranquility with a view of the wonderful nature.

Loft under the roof with fireplace

Our fireplace room (also usable as a seminar room) offers you a wide variety of amenities; from the cozy reading corner to a small alpine cinema, the room can be used individually. Banquets can also be held on a large table in the beautifully designed attic. Sometimes the fireplace room also turns into a gaming paradise for our little guests.

Schlappin
